The Society of Biomechanics and its partners offer a set of 5 Awards:

SB Poster AwardThe Société de Biomécanique wishes to valorize the poster communications during its annual congress. It has set up, in partnership with JPK Instruments / Bruker, an award for the best poster presented at the annual congress of the Society of Biomechanics.

SB PhD AwardThe thesis award of the Société de Biomécanique (1000 Euros) is sponsored by Biometrics, This award recognizes the doctoral work in the field of Biomechanics of a young Ph.D. researcher graduated from a French speaking university

SB Young Investigator AwardThe Young Researcher Award of the “Société de Biomécanique” rewards with €1,000 a young researcher whose work quality and originality are recognized at the international level. The research field can be fundamental or applied, but should be in line with the research themes of the “Société de Biomécanique”.

"Jean Vives Award": The Jean VIVÈS Award was created in 2005 by the Académie Nationale Olympique Française. Since 2019, this award is jointly organised by The Académie Nationale Olympique Française and the Éditions EP&S. The Jean VIVÈS Award reward, by a 500 € price, the scientific excellence of a young Francophone researcher in the field of sport biomechanics.

SB Award "Christian ODDOU"he Société de Biomécanique award “Christian Oddou” was launched in 2012 by the SB to honor the involvement of Professor Christian Oddou in biomechanics in general and to SB in particular. This award will be given to senior researchers who have contributed significantly to biomechanics throughout their careers. Candidates have to be nominated by SB members. The award includes a trophy and certificate, and all expenses during the congress will be covered. The winner will be requested to provide an award keynote lecture at the Congress of Biomechanics will take place from 25-27october in St Etienne, France.
